About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 122 × 174 cm (4'0" x 5'9"), plant dyed and reversible. A statement piece: black lines divide the field into seven columns of coloured diamonds.
The black lines are natural undyed wool; the diamonds glow in madder red, weld yellow, indigo blue, green and natural white, each with its own motif.
Woven double-sided, so both sides can be used. A focal point in an entryway, in front of the bed, under a small coffee table or under a desk.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
