About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 126 × 168 cm (4'2" x 5'6"), plant dyed and reversible. One large diamond in the centre, surrounded by colourful lines and framed by an indigo blue border.
The central medallion is woven in cream, blue, yellow, light blue and red, and the lines around it repeat these colours ring by ring. A red band of small linked diamonds runs between border and field.
In front of an armchair, beside the bed, in an entryway or under a small table.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
