About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 120 × 176 cm (3'11" x 5'9"), plant dyed and reversible. Just two colours, indigo blue and cream, in diamonds and zigzags.
The blue comes from indigo, the cream from weld. The wide border carries a cream zigzag, and the field holds five columns of diamonds, each with its own motif.
In front of a sofa, between two beds, under a desk or in a wide hallway.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
