About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 80 × 125 cm (2'7" x 4'1"), plant dyed and reversible. A calm cream ground with diamonds in orange and grey.
One large diamond is joined to four small ones, repeated three times across. The grey of the border comes from pomegranate peel, the orange from madder.
Woven double-sided, so both sides can be used. Fits a narrow entryway, beside the bed, in front of an armchair, in the kitchen or on the wall.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
