About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 78 × 135 cm (2'7" x 4'5"), plant dyed and reversible. A madder red border with hexagons frames blue diamonds on cream and beige.
The red border has a strong abrash; its hexagons are white, yellow and blue. The field holds one column of full blue diamonds with half diamonds in beige at the sides.
For an entryway, a narrow hallway, beside the bed or as a wall hanging.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
