About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 80 × 129 cm (2'7" x 4'3"), plant dyed and reversible. Soft diamonds in pink and grey-green with a yellow border.
The pink is madder red with an abrash; every red diamond holds a small indigo blue motif, every grey one a red motif.
Woven double-sided, so both sides can be used. Made for an entryway, a narrow hallway, in front of a bedroom door or as a wall hanging.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
