About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 147 × 203 cm (4'10" x 6'8"), plant dyed and reversible. A wide indigo blue border frames a field of red medallions on cream.
The blue border is dyed with indigo and has a clear abrash; it carries hexagons in cream, white and orange. On the outside runs a running-water motif in beige beside orange diamonds.
For a living room under the coffee table, a bedroom or a large entryway.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
