About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 102 × 155 cm (3'4" x 5'1"), plant dyed and reversible. A calm sage green field with a single red frame full of small motifs.
Inside the red frame, half diamonds repeat in changing colour pairs: grey and beige, cream and orange, cream and green. The green comes from weld and indigo, the grey from pomegranate peel with iron.
Pairs well with wood and light walls: in an entryway, beside the bed, in front of an armchair or on the wall.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
