About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 102 × 157 cm (3'4" x 5'2"), plant dyed and reversible. An earthy field with cream diamonds, framed by a wide border of coloured panels with hexagons.
The grey comes from pomegranate peel with iron, the orange from madder, the cream from weld. The border is split into panels of orange, grey, beige and green, each with its own hexagons.
For a kitchen, an entryway, beside the bed or in front of a sideboard.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
