About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 103 × 158 cm (3'5" x 5'2"), plant dyed and reversible. Zigzag lines form light diamonds on a red ground, framed by an indigo blue edge.
The red comes from madder, the blue from indigo, the cream from weld. Inside the white, blue and beige diamonds sit small motifs in orange, red and blue.
For an entryway, in front of a sofa or console, beside the bed or in the kitchen.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
