About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 104 × 147 cm (3'5" x 4'10"), plant dyed and reversible. An orange field full of colourful diamonds, framed by a green border with hexagons.
The orange comes from madder with weld, the green with its abrash from weld and indigo. The diamonds in the field are red, natural white, grey, yellow and beige, each with its own motif.
Brings warmth to an entryway, beside the bed, in front of an armchair or in the kitchen.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
