About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 102 × 155 cm (3'4" x 5'1"), plant dyed and reversible. Five columns of diamonds in cream, blue and beige, framed by a natural white border with colourful motifs.
The white border is undyed sheep's wool. On the very outside runs the running-water motif in indigo blue with abrash, beside a chain of red orange diamonds dyed with madder.
Light and friendly for a bedroom, an entryway, a reading corner or in front of a sofa.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
