About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 101 × 152 cm (3'4" x 5'0"), plant dyed and reversible. Two large red diamonds drawn in black lines, framed by a light blue border with hexagons.
The black lines of natural black wool divide the field into eight parts: two full diamonds, two halves and four quarters. The light blue comes from indigo, the red from madder.
For an entryway, at the foot of the bed, in front of an armchair or on the wall.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
