About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 103 × 151 cm (3'5" x 4'11"), plant dyed and reversible. Black lines divide the field into two large diamonds in red, blue, green and beige, framed by a blue border.
The border is dyed with indigo and shows a clear abrash, with hexagons in red, green, beige and white. The two large diamonds take up exactly these four colours again.
For an entryway, beside the bed, under a small coffee table or on the wall.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
