About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 108 × 154 cm (3'7" x 5'1"), plant dyed and reversible. A madder red field full of interlocking motifs, framed by a cream border with orange diamonds.
Every orange diamond in the border holds a smaller one in green, blue or beige. In the red field the undyed white of the sheep's wool shines between the plant dyes.
Brings warmth to simple rooms: in an entryway, beside the bed, in front of a sofa or under a small table.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
