About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 102 × 149 cm (3'4" x 4'11"), plant dyed and reversible. Red and green diamonds in the field, framed by a wide cream border with colourful motifs.
The border is dyed with weld and carries motifs in orange, blue and green. The running-water motif on the outside is woven half in green from indigo and weld, half in indigo blue.
For the spot beside the bed, in front of an armchair in a reading corner, in an entryway or in front of a console.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
