About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 106 × 153 cm (3'6" x 5'0"), plant dyed and reversible. A madder red field with eight light motifs, framed by an indigo blue border.
Only four colours: red, blue, beige and white. The comb motif repeats inside each of the eight shapes in the field and all along the border; red and blue both show a lively abrash.
For a kids room, beside the bed, in an entryway or under a desk.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
