About this piece
Handwoven wool kilim rug, 102 × 147 cm (3'4" x 4'10"), plant dyed and reversible. Colourful hexagons on a grey ground, framed by a natural white border and a chain of red diamonds.
The grey comes from pomegranate peel with iron, the white border is undyed sheep's wool. On the very outside runs a narrow edge in indigo blue with abrash.
For an entryway, beside the bed, in front of an armchair or on the wall.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
