About this piece
Handwoven kilim rug in undyed, hand-spun sheep's wool, 100 × 150 cm (3'3" x 4'11"), reversible. Calm stripes in grey and brown, with a small animal woven into one corner.
The tones come only from the wool of different sheep; their change makes the fine stripes. The little animal is the weaver's idea to keep the surface from looking plain.
Woven double-sided. Fits a bedroom, hallway, study or calm, modern rooms.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
