About this piece
Handwoven kilim rug in undyed, hand-spun sheep's wool, 100 × 150 cm (3'3" x 4'11"), reversible. A light cream ground with a soft abrash and a small brown animal.
The animal is woven with a shared-warp technique, so the kilim looks the same on both sides. The shading in the ground comes only from the hand-spun wool.
Woven double-sided. Brightens small rooms: beside the bed, in a child's room, a reading corner or a study.

Good to know
A light wool smell at the start is a sign of untreated wool and fades after two or three days of fresh air. Care: shake out, blot spills with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
