About this piece
Handwoven gabbeh rug in undyed, hand-spun sheep's wool, 100 × 150 cm (3'3" x 4'11"). A dark, soft gabbeh in brown and grey with a small light animal.
Woven freely from wool in different browns; the abrash brings the surface to life. The short pile with many weft rows lets it lie flat and drape softly.
Lovely on light floors: in a bedroom, in front of a sofa or in a study.

Good to know
Untreated wool smells faintly of wool at first; two or three days of fresh air take care of it. Care: shake out regularly, blot spills right away with clear water.
The natural lanolin in the wool keeps dirt out. The wool gets no chemical finish.
